• Another excellent album from The Standard. Quirky and expressive vocals. Interesting arrangements. Good musicianship. More keyboard driven than guitar. Solid, heavy with a gravitas to it yet hooky and melodic but different sounding. Not the same old same old 3 chord rock 'n' roll. Sonics of the recording are very good. Wish they still were /5(4).

• The ALBATROSS album was produced in an effort to be noticed and to promote the band. It was done as an independent effort (something not easily done at the time) in a studio that was owned by three partners, Joe Guarino, Jim Guarino, and me. We built the studio (Audio-Trak) in in an effort to bring professional recording to Rockford, Illinois.

Records produced and released the Eat Lightning, Shit Thunder 12" EP. Following the release of the 12", the CD version was pressed with permission by Bloodlink Records.
